This heavy duty and light weight truss system and armor is designed to take serious abuse and reinforce your front Dana 30 JK axle. The 1/4" thick truss top and 10Ga. gusseting incorporates a unique design to strengthen both axle tubes, not just the long tube. The precision cut and formed components of this setup ensure a hassle-free installation. Kit includes: front axle truss, front lower control arm skids, inner c gussets and heavy duty stock height tracbar bracket. Please note: If your lift replaces your tracbar and mounts to the factory axle bracket (typical with a lift that includes an adjustable tracbar), choose the factory height bracket. If you are doing a Drag link flip (which requires a minimum 3" lift and bumpstop extensions), choose the raised height bracket kit #A/IJK3010. This kit requires welding and general fabrication. Some grinding and fitment may be required when installing this kit. Every axle varies slightly and some fabrication may be required.
This Artec truss kit was for my 2013 JK unlimited sport front Dana 30 axle. This kit fits perfectly and all parts line up with axle housing with no confusion. Great fit for mock-up. Took axle housing out if Jeep for proper preheat of cast STEEL housing and removed axles to weld. Looks great and really makes the axle strong and reinforces other critical areas of axle and c gussets. Recommend for all Dana 30's.
Artec Industries is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but its origins are an American success story based in Tucscon, Arizona. The owner, Artie Nuttall, married into a family of off-roaders who quickly infected him with their enthusiasm. So much so that Nuttall took a welding class at a community college so that he could complete DIY axle swaps on his rig in his garage. Turns out he had a talent for welding and in 2010 Artie successfully marketed a line of battery mounts. From there, Artec Welding turned into Artec Industries and though the product line and success grew, Nuttall's attention to craftsmanship and quality never wavered. Shop Artec Industries Now
