PRODUCT OVERVIEW
ARB developed suspension kits to streamline the buying process by providing a vehicle-specific, integrated suspension system under one comprehensive part number. Now, ARB is expanding Old Man Emu kits to include Toyota 4Runner 2010-on, FJ Cruiser 2010-on, Tacoma 2005-on, and Tundra 2007-on applications.
Developed to add additional lift and enhanced ride comfort and quality, each new application is offered in either a medium- or heavy-load kit to curtail to the customer's needs. Each suspension kit includes all the necessary, durable components to take you off-road and back again with a comprehensive 3-year, 37,000-mile warranty.
Notes:
Vehicles with KDSS must have 1 x OME95PF5 spacer installed on the driver’s side to maintain correct trim (included with kit).
No top mount bushing supplied, use OME3133. OE bushings may be reused if in good condition.

Great Lift
Purchased for my 2019 4Runner. While mine is stock right now, I do plan on adding a bumper and winch. That said, I went for the medium load. Quite a difference from stock. No more floating/sway. This setup is quite a bit firmer, but not uncomfortably so. It's what you'd expect from a lift for a 4WD. I have lost about one MPG in gas mileage. Again, what you'd expect from a lift. I can't speak to the ease of installation, as I had mine installed by a local 4WD shop. However, he told me it went on without any issues, and the vehicle aligned to specs. I would highly recommend this product.

Old Man EMU lift kit for Toyota 4-runner.
Very reliable kit; medium load is still much stiffer than OEM parts which I like but still great handling on highway and daily driving. I expected nothing less from ARB Old Man EMU. Very pleased and great price.

Q: With this kit will it need the longer upper control arms? Answer this question
A: No. I put one on my 2007 FJ Cruiser and had one professionally installed on the 2016 4Runner. Neither needed new control arms. On the FJ I did need to get new clamps for the axle boots as the angle changes just enough that the stock clamps didn't hold - a known result for the FJ - but no issues with the 4 Runner. By the way, the 4Runner is soooooo much better on any bump with the OME lift (Medium duty with 150 lb roof top tent)

A: They do not, you also have to either reuse the strut mounts or get new ones! The suspension is Amazing though! I have the medium stiffness because I have the ARB Bumper also and it is good!

Q: Installing on a 2023 SR5 Premium without KDSS oem suspension. Confirming this will work? Also, what tire size will this accommodate up to? Answer this question
A: I have this on my FJ Cruiser and 5th gen 4Runner, running 285/70/17 (33" equivelant) on both with no issues at all. I know someone put 34" with no issues, and someone else put 35" on and needed to cut body mounts due to scrapping when truely off roading.

Q: I have 2010 FJ Cruiser and I tow an off road trailer. There is sag in the rear when hooked up. I currently have the OME light duty lift, about 50-60,000 miles on the lift. If i get a new kit can I get heavy duty rear springs and medium duty front springs? Answer this question
A: I put the medium front and rear on my 2007 FJ Cruiser and hauled a 14' trailer with two big ATVs, giant cooler, etc (about 2,000 lbs) and the medium was perfect for that load. There was minimal sag, and I definitely am glad I did medium. If you get the HD on the rear you will probably hate the ride without the trailer.
