Worth it
Exceptionally easy to install. The tubing is semi-rigid, so a little care is needed to avoid kinking it. I did it without putting my 2022 4Runner on stands and it still wasn't too bad. If I were to do it again, I would put it on stands or a lift. Simple solution for a very real problem if you're planning on getting wet.

She can breathe!!!! Best mod for your buck!
It was very easy installation. Not going take my truck for swim but if i do get in some bad Puddles. I at least know my diff is safe.

Good product.
It’s a bit pricey, but piecing this setup together separately doesn’t save that much money. It works well for up to 4 driveline devices. There was plenty of tubing to do an FZJ80.

A: Yes it will. The kit will have enough parts for two breathers. You will also need to order 170113 in order to do two additional breathers.

Q: Hello expert. On my 2015 Wrangler the breather tubes are much larger in diameter than 1/4". Does this kit come with fittings to replace the OEM fitting in the transfer cases etc. ALSO: where is the recommended location to mount this device on my vehicle. Thank you. Answer this question
A: Hello Dave The best place to mount is on the firewall up near the master cylinder area. As for the hoses I use plastic splices from AutoZone. They are 1/4 on one side the 5/16th or 3/8th on the other. They are just a straight hose barb fitting on both ends.
