This portable 12V air compressor comes in a durable polypropylene carry case for added versatility and uses quality components for quiet operation and extra long life. Including a 19 ft. air hose, it also comes with all the necessary fittings for tire inflation and camping or leisure gear.
This compressor part number comes with a wiring harness for the compressor and two lockers from battery to compressor to dashboard. The lockers come with their own switches and valves. The major parts of the compressor can be rotated about the axis of the motor to allow easier configuration for the space available. Everything seems substantially made, heavy, well labelled, and good directions.

I bought this for my arb front locker. it did not come with all the parts needed so I had to chase the rest down. what a pain! Otherwise I love it.

Purchased for airing up tires
Having a very small 4x4 this compressor inflates my tires extremely fast. Guessing approx 15-30 sec/tire from 26 psi for fast off road driving to 40psi for hwy driving. I have very small volume tires compared to most 4x4's however. We have the same compressor on our work vehicles and it will do a 265/75-16 in approx 2-3 min/per tire from 15 psi to 36 psi. If you have a larger vehicle that requires higher pressures and have larger tires I would recommend the dual compressor if you have the budget for it. This compressor could still do it w/o any problems I'm sure, it would just take awhile to get say a 285/75-16 up to 80 psi from 15 psi for example. This is still very very much faster than any cigarette lighter operated compressor and you won't regret getting it.

Easy to use and pretty fast for portable . Airs up my 35's after wheeling much faster that other portables I've seen. Continuous air no cooling time etc.

Worth the money
I put this in a 87 4runner, and the install was easy and the harness made things even easier. Also 4wheelparts took care of me, and got me a spare part that was missing over night.

The little compressor that could...
Today was the first day using this.
32" Jeep Rubicon Mt's-20psi to 35psi in 1:40, per tire.
(if I just clip the air chuck on the tire to deflate, it takes 1:10 from 35-20, so that gives you an idea of how much air this thing is pushing.)
Box doesn't vibrate around on the ground at all, not to loud.
If I set the box in front of the truck(full size), the hose will reach both back tires.
air hose will be hot when you disconnect it from the compressor after 4 tires, careful.
If you haven't seen the whole package, its probably going to be smaller than you think it is.
Was considering waiting until ARB's dual compressor, portable beast is available-latest is end of august. (it flows 3 times as much, 100 duty cycle, can run air tools, & not much physically larger case. But, this one is good enough for me.

The wiring diagram and instructions are simple and easy to assist if modifying the harness length for your application. Definitely go with the One-Off Fabrication's master cylinder mount if attaching to a Jeep JK.

Good things come in small packages
The Compressor is small but mighty. It did everything it said it would. It took about 2 minutes to fill my tires from 15 lbs to 40 lbs not bad for a little guy. It should come with some rubber grommets to reduce vibration. I bought some at the local hardware store.

ARB makes the best products for all of our offroad needs!!
According to ARB this compressor has a 50% duty cycle (30 min on, 30 min off). Is that automatically controlled, or does the user have to comply with the duty cycle rating? If I left the switch on would the compressor cycle on/off to prevent damage?

It depends on what you are using it for. If you are running ARB air lockers it will cycle on its own every few minutes. There is also a pressure switch that turns it on and off at maximum PSI.

Can i use pneumatic tools with this? Such as a air wrench or impact tools?

You can if you also install a minimum of a 1.5 gallon (or larger) tank and a check valve.

What is the duty cycle on this unit
Sabby from Monkland Ontario canada on
ARB does not provide a duty cycle. The did offer this "It's small enough to fit into even the tightest space and quiet enough to mount in the cab. It has enough output to air up four 35" - 37" tires in a single duty cycle and typically airs up a 35" tire in just over two minutes." Thank you.
