Steps are great wiring diagram lacking
Steps are great and instructions are very good as well. However, the wiring diagram was wrong for my 2021 Gladiator. The instructions called for three wires to go to the white plug/harness when actually the white plug/harness is for the drivers side and the black harness is for the passenger side. That said the two control wires for the passenger side goes to the black one and the drivers side to the white one. Hope this helps!

Electric running boards
We love them my truck has a 5” lift and wife used to have to carry a step ladder in the backseat to get in and out with. These running boards are perfect and we’re installed beautifully

Packaging step height and size.
Manufacture may need to rethink packaging step was bent during shipping and will need to be replaced. Step take little getting use to it doesn’t stick as far out from the body of the truck as a standard step and is lower to the ground. It’ll just take some getting use to.

A: These will in no way work as rock sliders, you will destroy them in my opinion. If you want something that will hold up in that situation look at the Rockslide Engineering units.

Q: PER AMP the new model comes with Plug and Play. Is this the newer model Answer this question
A: I am not sure what truly "plug and play' means. I installed a set on my 2021 Gladiator last year and I had to tap into the wiring harness behind the kick wall on the passenger side. The wiring instructions said that both steps were controlled from one set of wires (there were three sets of wires) but I had to wire one into once set and the other into the other set. I had to YouTube it to get it figured out. However I have been very happy with them once I figured out the wiring. I did have to go back and snug up some bolts after a few months of use. They have all stayed tight since then. Hope this helps.

A: This fits both models. For the two door you have to trim the actual step down. The instructions are really clear on how to do it.

Q: Will power running boards work with trail mopar tube doors? Answer this question
A: There is a switch to override the power running boards. I do not have that on mine but have read about it while looking for the AMP Research boards. I hope that help.
