Approved as original equipment by vehicle manufacturers and militaries world wide, these tough hubs are built to last. A hardened nylon center is used instead of metal to keep you moving in the rare case of a hub failure. The only way to repair it is to replace it. The question is, with what? Factory automatic hubs have a history of failing when you need them most. A damaged hub will render your 4x4 useless and leave you stranded. Wish you could swap your venerable automatic hubs to a set of manual locking hubs? Alloy USA has heard your plea Alloy USA Manual Locking Hubs are unanimously recognized as the world's toughest hubs by our thousands of satisfied customers worldwide. Brute strength matters, that is why the bodies of our hubs are crafted from impact resistant nodular iron, and feature a corrosion resistant die cast aluminum cap. Yes they replace the vacuum hubs on the Ford rangers.
Hi, I have a 1998 Mazda B4000 4x4, and the drivetrain parts should be identical to a ranger but all the front manual hubs I look up do not say they are compatible with the mazda. This product looks exactly like what I need but why is it saying they will not work?
Answer this question
Yes they will work on the B4000 if you have the vacuum hub's on it now.
Thanks for the inquiry Dennis, the Rugged Ridge Locking Hub part # RUG15001.70 is a pair of hubs.
1999 Ford Ranger xlt 4.0L 4wd. My question has to do with spline count. I've seen 26 and or 27 spline count for the 99 Ranger. Which is it and how do I determine the correct one for my Ranger.
Answer this question
Well you have sparked one of the century biggest arguments. do i count the peaks or the valleys when counting splines? The manufacture counts the peaks which is 27 spline bu if you count the valleys you will come up with 26. to answer your question the stub axle is 27 spline Thank You.
