The Alloy USA Extreme Duty Axle U-Joints are great way to increase the strength and reliability of your stock or aftermarket axles. Unlike other extreme duty U-Joints that use bushings these still use the O.E.M style needle bearings to maintain streetability on vehicles not equipped with locking hubs.
Will these fit my 1999 jeep xj Dana 30? And is this for a pair or do I need to order 2?

Hello I actually have 2 questions. Are these stronger than dana spicer u joints? and Can I use these in my 1988 Jeep xj with a dana 30 front end? Thanks
Tiffany from Washington State on
Yes they are stronger than the Dana joints. If you have stock axles they will not work they are to large. The 93 and older front ends use the Dana D/S 5-260x u-joint. There is no heavy duty replacement for that u-joint.

can this u joint fit on stock axle shaft of a 2009 jeep rubicon unlimited?

MArs the Alloy USA 11500 Extreme Duty Axle U-Joint is designed for the early model Dana 44 axles and will not fit your 2009 Jeep JK Wrangler. At this time the only streetable U-Join is the Factory Dana Spicer unit http://jo.my/kkptll the other extreme duty U-Joints do not have needle bearings they use bronze bushings that need to be constantly lubed to prevent seizing. thank you
