Also contacted manufacturer of this item, and they sent me replacement parts, at no charge. Original fittings are plastic, new ones are metal. Great warranty policy.

A: Hello Mark and thank you for the inquiry on the Air Lift replacement sleeve. This part is a replacement air bag for an AirLift air bag kit. It is to be used to level your truck due to heavy loads.
