Got it to fix my sagging when I loaded up my jeep when overlanding. Drove it off road and no issues. Install was simple and easy. My jeep is stock height. I keep it 5 to 10 psi when unloaded and 15 to 20 when loaded. Does the job of keeping my jeep level. Will ride a bit stiffer.
Best investment I did to my truck. I tow a travel trailer with my RAM 1500 and what a huge difference. I would highly recommend them.
The installation took about 3 hours, I sure others can do it much faster. On the driver side, I somehow got it misaligned, so I had to remove and install it again. You have to completely remove the coil springs to get them in. I wished they offered air line upgrade for these, because the air line is just bare plastic tube. They work great so far and I am very happy with them, and you don’t have to cut any brackets off to install them.
I purchased the bags for my 2020 Ram 1500 ECODIESEL for 2 reasons. 1st my inside edge treat wear was horrible due to towing and lifting the front end up and squatting the rear. 2nd to help squat and towing stability. I have been so happy with this decision, I have noticed the wear on inside steer tires have almost completely stopped and back to normal and that the ride and level of vehicle is amazing now while towing. Dropping the bags to 5lbs when not using makes the truck feel stock again. Only cautions to be aware of is when loading a heavy item or tractor and if it lifts the back end of the truck up make sure the threaded valves in top of bags return to original location and do not get pinched. This can be accomplished by securing in place with zip ties. Also, purchased the wireless air lift 2nd generation and installed inside the back seat floor storage compartment to keep out of elements and deaden sound. Ram all tubing inside frame railing and filled with pond foam to protect and insulate.
Q: Will this product level up my truck ? Answer this question
A: will not lift your truck - Up to 1,000 lbs. of load-leveling capacity | Eliminates squat, trailer sway, rough ride and bottoming out. Providing suspension support when using a front snow plow or in-bed camper. Adding air springs to the front coil springs helps to eliminate squat, poor headlight aim, body roll, and bottoming out the problems frequently faced when plowing or using a truck bed camper. Simply add air when loaded up or preparing to use a plow for a safe and comfortable experience. With the added stability that air springs provide, you can put your truck to use safely with the support you need.
