Over all I am very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their intake

I love this intake
I love this intake. Great gas millage and quick off the line. The only problem is that this intake isn't smog legal, that's why I gave it three stars. Other then that this intake is AWESOME hands down!!

Can't give it a 5 star, but still good.
My biggest complaint is that I had to purchase a longer hump hose. The 3" hose is too short to connect the intake tube to the MAF housing. Using the one in the box you had to force the tube into the rubber hump hose connector. Purchased one from Donaldson that is 5.25" long and worked great. Everything is straight and not in tension.

Easy to install, this my second one I've installed. More power at the rear wheels.

Just what my J/K needed!
aFe Power's Magnum Force Stage 2 cold air intake for the Jeep Wrangler J/K is my favorite intake on the market. The 1 piece 16 gauge heat shield fit perfectly making this an easy install. The dyno tuned, metal intake tube mated to the massive 4" conical air filter provided 10 additional horsepower and 11 lbs x ft of torque, just what my Jeep needed for climbing hills, and navigating sandy washes. I chose to run the aFe Pro 5 R oiled, 5 layer progressive cotton gauze filter which offers maximum horsepower gains. You can always count on Advanced Flow Engineering products to deliver performance, quality, and value.

Super easy to install.
I just wanted to try and get a little more gas mileage and some performance from my truck. It has improved the horsepower on the truck it is much quicker off the start.

bang for the buck
This intake kit really makes a huge difference in fuel economy. Even on the highway I would get maybe 280 miles per tank, after installing the intake and going for a road trip I hit 280 miles before I went through half a tank. There is a deeper sound as well even when cruising, full throttle is a nice sound, and throttle response got quicker. The only complaint I have is when installing the air temperature sensor. The rubber grommet gave me a hard time and ended up adding 30 minutes to a simple install. That is the only downside, expect to have "fun" with that. Great product and it will pay for itself after a few months with the gas savings.

I just put it in my jeep and went for a drive, and the response on the throttle was better and it got up and went. It gave it a better growl. So far the little drive i went on, I like it.

Easy install. Great power response and deep throaty sound at WOT.
I own a 2015 GMC 1500 with a 5.3L motor. Do you have any specific details regarding horsepower and torque gains over the OE equipment?

This stage 2 air intake system combines a 3-1/2" diameter black powder-coated aluminum tube and a massive 7-1/2" Pro 5R air filter with inverted top to generate 30% more airflow. The Pro 5R air filter uses 5-layers of progressive, oiled cotton gauze media and provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. The air intake is enclosed in a durable 18-gauge heat shield that utilizes the lower half of the factory air box that requires no assembly for a hassle-free 15 minute installation. This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-13). AFE does not offer a HP or TQ rating for this unit at this time. Thank you for the question.

Will this product install in my 97 wrangler sport 6 cyl. With a/c?
Lenny from Lake Havasu, Az. on
Yes it will clear on the Jeeps with A/C and is 50 state legal.

Is there a difference in Hp, and MPG improvement between this product and the Momentum GT Sealed Stage 2 Si PRO 5R Intake System? I don't plan on taking my car off road much but that doesn't mean I'm not planning on hitting the occasional large puddle I find along side the road. I'm also planning on adding a throttle body spacer, do you have any recommendations as to which would work best with either cold air intake system? My main concern is in adding MPG.
Ted from Portland, OR. on
The best intake systems are the ones with the bigger boxes. The Si kits are nicer and will give you more horsepower.
