    I was more than pleased when i first got this product the way it worked and everything Then after about two years the cable froze up not frozen but could not move it to shift the transfer case Had it checked out at a 4wd garage he tried to free it up with different lubricants wouldn't budge so it could shift again He then called advance adapters they didn't want to do anything They could of given us a break on the price of the cable The way it was made this should of never happened Hope i have better luck with the next cable ticked customer Got stuck in my own driveway waiting for cable coming from California

    A: Hello Terry I would use the 715543 for your TJ instead of the one you had picked. The 715543 is for the tj and 231 transfer case. Thanks

    Q: i have a 95 jeep wrangler with a chevy 4.3 engine chevy nv3500 5spd trans with a 231 c hd transfer case can i get this kit to work on my rig Answer this question

    A: Hello With some work you can get it to fit. You will have to cut the floor to accept the shifter tower. The floor will need to reinforced where the shifter body sits. Thanks

    Advance Adapters got its start in Downey, California in 1971 with a single adapter mating a Muncie car 4-speed to a Jeep Dana 18 transfer case. Eventually headers, overdrives, motor mounts and linkage brackets were added to the offerings to complement their core adapter components. When interest in rock crawling spiked in the mid-1990s, Advance Adapters offered low ratio transmission swaps then switched gears into the ultra-low gear transfer case arena.
