    PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    Found in 1988-2002 Wranglers with the 4 cylinder engine. This bellhousing requires the use of a 153-tooth flywheel and a new external mounted slave cylinder and required is a special 10-1/2 x 1 14 spline clutch disc.     Q: I have a 2009 hummer h3t with a Aisin AR5 5speed tranny in it and was wondering if this is the right conversion bell housing to marry that AR5 to a 5.3 ls? Answer this question

    A: No, Per Advance Adapters this is for Chevy 4.3L V8 & V6 to Jeep Wrangler AX5 5 speed adapter bellhousing kit and not for any LS series engine

    Advance Adapters got its start in Downey, California in 1971 with a single adapter mating a Muncie car 4-speed to a Jeep Dana 18 transfer case. Eventually headers, overdrives, motor mounts and linkage brackets were added to the offerings to complement their core adapter components. When interest in rock crawling spiked in the mid-1990s, Advance Adapters offered low ratio transmission swaps then switched gears into the ultra-low gear transfer case arena.
