Q: I have a 2009 hummer h3t with a Aisin AR5 5speed tranny in it and was wondering if this is the right conversion bell housing to marry that AR5 to a 5.3 ls? Answer this question
A: No, Per Advance Adapters this is for Chevy 4.3L V8 & V6 to Jeep Wrangler AX5 5 speed adapter bellhousing kit and not for any LS series engine

Q: Hello, The description says it fits a chevy v8 and can be mated to a T176 tranny. Does this mean it fits a 1990 chevy 350 V8 5,7L? And, does it come with all the hardware required (minus clutch and pressure plate) to make it work? Thanks, Carlos Answer this question
A: This adapter bellhousing assembly is used to adapt the GM 4.3, V8 to the Jeep series SR4, T-4, T-5, T-150 & T-176 transmission. The bellhousing is used for both 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder applications.

Q: Will this bell housing connect a nv4500 from a 1993 Chevy 2500 to a 1985 K30 with a 6.2 diesel? Answer this question
A: Hello I checked on Advances website and it has no mention of the 6.2 motor. I know the bell housing bolt pattern is the same. I'm not sure about how the clutch would work out on the set up. Best bet would be to call Advance's tech line. (800)350-2223 Thanks

Q: 1987 jeep wrangler. How many nut holes does it have through the inside? 7 or 9? Answer this question
A: Hello If you are talking about the threaded holes for mounting the transmission there are 9. This bellhousing fits with all the stock transmissions used on the 1987 - 1995 Wranglers.

Advance Adapters got its start in Downey, California in 1971 with a single adapter mating a Muncie car 4-speed to a Jeep Dana 18 transfer case. Eventually headers, overdrives, motor mounts and linkage brackets were added to the offerings to complement their core adapter components. When interest in rock crawling spiked in the mid-1990s, Advance Adapters offered low ratio transmission swaps then switched gears into the ultra-low gear transfer case arena. Today, the company is based in Paso Robles, California and their engine and transmission conversions for Jeeps are in kit form and sold as individual components. Shop Advance Adapters Now
