What Are 34 Tires Common Pros and Cons?
34 inch tires are a middle size when it comes to your choice for off-road upgrades. That makes them very balanced in terms of their performance and price tradeoff, and it also means that some larger vehicles might be able to take them as a stock option. Even if that's not the case, the lift needed to accommodate them is usually not as drastic as it would be for extremely large tires. That being said, this size also has some limitations in terms of the terrain it can handle, because your tires won't have the contact surface available from some larger options. That only matters if you are planning on really pushing your limits, though.
Which 34 Tires Are Best?
There are a lot of great choices out there, and the best one depends a lot on what you're planning on doing. There's a huge difference between 34" tires that are balanced for any terrain and the ones that are built with a single environment in mind. That being said, your top choices will still come from brands that are recognized for great quality across the board. Look for Mickey Thompson and Super Swamper at the head of the pack, but don't rule out the offerings from Yokohama or Toyo.
How Much Do 34 Tires Cost?
New 34 inch all terrain tires generally cost between $300 and $500, but you will find some bargain offerings below that and some extreme high-performance options above it.
