The slip yoke on YJ and TJ Wranglers allows the rear driveshaft to change length. If your rig is lifted more than a couple of inches, the slip yoke can cause serious problems. You may experience driveline vibrations or run the risk of an overextended suspension causing the slip yoke to slide out of the transfer case or the rear shaft to break. Eliminate these risks by converting the slip yoke to a fixed mounting flange and installing a constant velocity driveshaft. If your Wrangler has more than two inches of lift, you should consider a transfer case slip yoke eliminator kit.

Finding a slip yoke eliminator kit on 4 Wheel Parts is easy. Enter the specifications of your vehicle into our advanced search tool to find the right SYE transfer case and hardware for your model. SYE Transfer Cases and CV Driveshafts
A slip yoke eliminator can help to correct the angle of your driveshaft. Look for a fixed yoke model with an output shaft that is strong enough to stand up to your style of driving. You should also make sure that the driveshaft length is suitable for the amount of lift. Make sure that the kit or parts you are considering are right for your vehicle and will work together.
