The Jeep Wrangler does not exactly have a cavernous interior. Pack a JL or a JK for a long adventure and you quickly realize space is at a premium. Even with an extra set of doors, there still isn't a lot of room inside of a Wrangler. That lack of space gets even worse when hauling passengers and not being able to fold down the rear seats.
A roof rack makes a great solution to the Wrangler's tight interior space. With one in place, you have another area to stow gear.
