Nathan Apodaca, A.K.A. Doggface208 who went viral for his epic longboard video while causally sipping on a bottle of Ocean Spray cranberry juice filled with positivity and dreams; recently picked up a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 to venture out where the pavement ends. Doggface208 lives his life his way so there was no way he was going to keep his new truck stock for long. 4 Wheel Parts is no stranger to transforming trucks and Jeeps from stock to custom or mild to wild so it was only natural that 4WP couldn't let Doggface208 head out for adventure without first letting us work our magic on his Chevy. We knew just what the truck needed to get it dialed for his free-spirited lifestyle.

We met up with Doggface208 at the 4 Wheel Parts store in Boise, Idaho where Store Manager Cody Gallas went over a few options on how we could get his truck dialed based on what Nathan wanted his truck to look like and how he planned to use it. His objective was simple, a truck that could handle the harsh Idaho winters while still looking fly and delivering a smooth ride for summer adventures both on and off the road.

With a direction for the build in mind, the parts were rounded up and the Silverado hit the lift inside the state-of-the-art service center at 4WP Boise. To achieve the style that Dogface208 wanted without sacrificing performance, a 6-Inch Pro Comp suspension lift kit was selected along with a set of sweet satin black 20-inch 4WP Factory T-Series wheels wrapped in 35-inch 4WP Factory Xtreme RT rubber. The Xtreme RT tires feature excellent handling both on and off-road and pack a very favorable load range for hauling or towing trailers which is ideal for a double duty adventure truck.

The Pro Comp Suspension made short work of getting the Z71 on the right level and gave it the right amount of clearance for the larger 35-inch tires. The heavy-duty Pro Comp bolt-on drop bracket crossmember brought the suspension and steering geometry back within spec. A set of perfectly tuned Pro Comp coil springs as well as a set of beefy knuckles rounded out the suspension package to ensure for a smooth ride for years to come.

With the suspension department handled, the team of expert 4WP Technicians rolled a set of 35-inch 4WP Factory Xtreme RT Tires over to the tire mounting machine to install them on a fresh set of satin black 4WP Factory T-Series wheels to give this Silverado a whole new stance and appearance fit for any occasion.

With new heights on the horizon for Doggface208, getting in an out of his lifted Chevy was going to be a little more difficult. That is until the team at 4WP Boise outfitted his truck with a set of sleek AMP Research Power Steps to make his next juice run to the store a breeze.
