Comments about SCC Security ChainLink Chain Non-CAM LT SUV/LT Snow Chains:

I was less than impressed with the barbie jeep tire chains purchased at the SLC 4WP. I went in to get tire chains for the 325/65R18 35" tires on my Excursion, as well as a 3/4ton blazer with 35s that I use for blowing snow. When I got up on the mountain and installed the chains I was dismayed to see the mini 3/16" thick links, downright dainty compared to the beefy 1/4" thick links of the chains

Questions & Answers

  • Q:

"Good Day, I'm curious if these chains will fit a 37"" tires? If not what product will? I have a 2010 Jeep JK that has a 6.25"" spring lift and 37"" mud tires. Tony"
  • Q:

"Boyfriend wants chains for 35x12.50-18 tires on his truck. Do these work? (I never had chains when I had oversized tires but, he insists on getting some for 'just-in-case.') Finding this size has been tricky &/or expensive. Any recommendations that wont break the bank? I live in the Seattle-Tacoma area so any in stock at a local store would be awesome too. Thanks!"
