Great looks but doesn't add much to the handling.

Good high grade equi. better than stock

Comments about RanchoRS5000 Steering Stabilizer Cylinder:

On the orig. equi. the tapered bolt that connects dampener to steering gear, You will need a impact hammer. This is a real bear to remove.

Works good so far

Comments about RanchoRS5000 Steering Stabilizer Cylinder:

This damper only has a little over 1000 miles on it since I installed it. The improvement was noticed immediately. The old damper wore out after about 25k; I didn't replace until 32k so there was a lot of wobble and noticeable bump steer. After installing this product, my 2012 lifted wrangler with 35X12 handles at road speeds like new. I am curious to see how many miles this product will continue

2006 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited

Comments about RanchoRS5000 Steering Stabilizer Cylinder:

After installing a Rubicon Express 3.5 lift on my 06 Rubicon Unlimited, I felt more "loose steering" over the stock height. My lift kit did not come with a steering stabilizer (said not needed), so I ordered this as an add on. The stabilizer did tighten up the steering a tad bit, but still too loose for the wife. Now ordering a front trac-bar to correct the "bump steer" we are now experiencing.

helped but not great

Comments about RanchoRS5000 Steering Stabilizer Cylinder:

It helped a little with steering jitter and play. Not as much as I had hoped for though. Definitely better than stock but if you have poor steering issues you might want to go with a double setup or just a higher quality one.
