The lift was great priced has a great ride and was very easy to install the only problem was they make no bracket for the rear sway bar which puts it in a bad angle I wrote a couple of emails to pro comp that never got answered and called pro comp what I got was no help pro comp has very poor customer service

I've had this lift for about 15K miles now on a 2007 FJ Cruiser. The one and only problem I had was that the lift causes stress on the CV boots. The clamps get stretched and fling grease everywhere. I replaced the clamps and all seems to be well. The ride is a little stiff, but to my liking. If you are not planning to add an aftermarket bumper and winch, the stiffness may be a turnoff. For me,

this kit (Pro Comp 3" Lift) lifted my truck and has a stiffer ride but works very good with my new 295x70x17 tires, I have a higher clearance for off road use and I like the combination and smooth ride it has produce with bigger tires. But I have to say this is an entry level lift kit, and if you are on a budget they work just find.

What ProComp won't tell you is that you have to buy new/longer upper control arms after you install this lift or you will never get a perfect alignment out of it and it will chew your tires up. They know this, but will not tell you, I went round and round with their sales and install reps, I even had Toyota ASE mechanics call them as my FJ was on the Alignment Machine and do exactly like Procomp s
