Our Traction Bars are designed to reduce rear leaf spring axle wrap caused by lift blocks and oversized tires. Typically the travel cycle of the Super Duty rear axle is an arch. Fabtech's exclusive traction bar shackle system allows the bars to float with the arched travel of the rear axle. This provides a non-binding, smooth highway ride, while still providing positive resistance to torque loads, reducing axle wrap and increasing tire traction. Installation of traction bars may not eliminate carrier bearing vibration on some vehicles. To use with Fabtech rear leaf springs or AMP steps order Bracket Kit (FABFTS92025). Must have minimum 3" blocks for proper clearance.

"I have a 2010 F250 Lariat ccsb 6.4L Powerstroke with a Fabtech 4"" lift kit, I am looking for a set of Fabtech traction bars, in the technical detail section it says fits 1999 to 2010 F250/F350 but the listing says it is not compatible with my vehicle when I enter in year make model ect"
  • Q:

"Hello I have a 2004 ford 6.0 diesel 4?4 with fab tech lift 8"" I am thinking of installing rear traction bars to avoid axle wrap and improve the trucks performance. Fab tech has the traction bars but was kind of confused between the floating bars and the standard. Also I was hoping they still come in the color blue since all of under carriage is blue. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you and best warm regards. Michael T soward (field service engineer)"
