  BD Diesel Cool-It Intercoolers

  More Surface Area, Better Flow, Reduced Inlet Temperature!

  Compressed air is heated air, and when you mix high boost pressure with an aggressive fuel curve, the result can be inlet temperatures as high as 500 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s why BD developed the new Cool-It Intercooler. An intercooler functions identically to a radiator except instead of water, compressed (and therefore heated) air passes through the intercooler’s core. Meanwhile, ambient air passes through the external fins, removing excess heat energy. Cooler air is more dense, and therefore the engine can benefit from more pounds of air for a given amount of time. With 57% more cooling surface area and a 33% thicker core, the Cool-It increases cooling efficiency to approximately 90%, compared to only 70% for the stock intercooler. That can mean a temperature reduction of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit!

  BD Diesel X-Intake Cold Air Packages

  X-Intake cold air packages replace the restrictive factory air filter element with a polished stainless steel air box and a high-flow, washable and reusable air filter. In addition to 200% more airflow, the BD Diesel X-Intake is isolated from engine heat and draws air from outside the vehicle for cooler, denser intake charge, resulting in more power and a better sound!

  Features a larger plenum for increased airflow, and smooth radius turns to reduce turbulence and intake pressure losses. BD’s unique design positions the fasteners outside of the manifold (instead of through it) to reduce airflow restriction, and two convenient ports (one pre-tapped) make it easy to monitor boost and/or inject nitrous oxide or another power adder.   Nothing can put an end to a quarter mile pass or hill climb faster than a turbo hose that blows off. Now, you can eliminate this problem with BD Diesel’s new hose and clamp kits. Eye-catching blue Nomex silicone hoses can withstand over 100 psi of boost and are secured by rugged, spring-loaded, stainless steel T-bar clamps.   Dodge Intercooler Replacement Pipe

  This BD Diesel Intercooler Replacement Pipe replaces the weak factory plastic intercooler intake pipe on the 2006-2007 Dodge 5.9L, eliminating potential cracking from improved boost pressures that comes with turbo and electronic modifications.
