Overview

BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire when roadside assistance is not an option the super-tough sidewall compound and 3-ply construction resists cuts and bruises to take the edge off of rocks and other off-road hazards. Overcome nearly any obstacle with linear flex zones that allow the tire to conform and grab obstacles in aired-down driving. Leave the tow rig at home Drive to the trails with better road manners and less noise than you’d expect in an unstoppable off-road tire! The T/A KM2 is an excellent tire for the driver who needs great off-road traction, but still wants a good wearing, long mileage street tire. The Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 has a footprint made to dominate almost anything in its path. Smart design gives it excellent mud-clearing ability and low road noise.

I put a set of 35''x12.50'' on my 1990 Toyota with a 7''in lift and these tires are absolutely hard core when you need them to be. I have punished these tires in just about every way and after four years of this they are still going strong with only about 1/2 the tread wear. will I buy another set "YOU BET"

Picked these tires up, and have been convinced that these are a GREAT all around tire. Obviously the wear will not be as great on the city driving compared to all terrain tires, but i love the traction that i have. Used them in the mud, very impressed with their performance. Rain, unless i intentionally break traction, they stick. Get one! (or four or five) :)

I bought these tires for my Jeep CJ back in 2000. It's now 2012 and the same tires are still on my Jeep (12 years). I know, tires shouldn't be on vehicles for more than five years. However, I still have plenty of tread on the tire. I will buy new ones this year, but thought I'd let you know these tires last a long, long, long time.

When I bought my Jeep it had these tires on it they were only 4 months old. I love them they are actually one of the big reasons I bought it because they are the tires that I prefer for on and off road tires. They are great on the road, they are not loud and the ride is basically smooth. I have had no problems off road either. If you want a street tire that you can take off road with little worry's this is your tire. The tred life is also long and worth what you pay if you rotate them like you are suppose to.

Thank you for the question. That all depends upon the lift height and the wheel backspace. You will need a minimum of 3" lift to clear the 33" tire. You will also need a 4" to 5" wheel backspace to go anything wider then a 10.50 tire.

                                Hello. I have a 2003 Nissan Xterra XE 4X4.

Will this size tire fit a 15X8 wheel with a 3.75" backspacing? I will be putting it on with the Rancho 2.5" suspension lift I plan on installing. Therefore, I also need the tire to be a 33".

Also, how well does this tire work in deep snow and icy roads? I want a really good all season tire that will give me the best traction in deep snow and icy roads, but still be a great tire for on and off-road use. If this tire isn't great for what I'm looking for, can you please recommend a different tire that comes in a 33" size that will fit my 15X8 wheel? Thank you!

Thank you for your question. If your stock rim is a 15x7 this tire will fit and you will need a lift to fit this on your vehicle.

I have a stock 04 Rubicon and need a replacement set of tires which are used about 50/50 on/off road. Off road use is rocky trails/roads, sand washes, mild mud, desert but no rock crawling. Is this tire a good fit?. What size lift kit do I need? Will it fit on my existing rims? Thanks. Rennie

The BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 is a good all around tire for your vehicle. I would consider a mild 2 inch lift to ensure clearance off road. The ARB Old Man Emu 2 inch lift kit (part number ARBJK21) ensures great on and off road ride and performance.
