Comments about Rugged Ridge Tailgate Stop:

Wranglers without tailgate stops are a pain if you aren't parked on level ground with no wind. I had a YJ for 23 years, and it had a stop. My TJ doesn't. I bought this and it works fine. The only complaint is the installation. It calls for some fairly large holes to be drilled in sheet metal and that can be tricky. I ended up with out of round holes and had to get a bit creative with installation. Also, where I was told/shown to drill the holes ended up hitting a brace inside the door, so all in all the installation took way too long. But it's on and it works. If you buy one, just be REAL careful putting it on.
