Comments about Rugged Ridge Grab Handle:

I am rating this a 5 star because of the end result. I would say that I did a little modification to make the long bolts fully fasten and tighten to the dashboard. With just an Allen wrench this is very difficult to fully tighten. I found a tool that had the right Allen wrench head size to give myself a bit more torque. It is very important that a grab handle be fully fastened to the vehicle. It's not something you want coming loose otherwise it serves no purpose. The 2 steel tubular shafts directly fit into your dash and are constructed to fit inside the bar handle housing. They could have come with a small gasket or rubber ring to prevent rattling and slight movement. I found it very difficult to fully tighten the steel machine screws without either leaving some rattle or having it move slightly if i really pulled on the bar. I went back in and ran some small black tape along the top side of the tubular shafts so that it wasn't metal on metal contact, which is really hard to shield noise vibrations and rattle without some sort of "buffer". Overall I am very pleased with the results but I would encourage future products that are steel/metallic in construction to include grommets, pads, inserts, gaskets, etc. to prevent rattle, noises, or otherwise deter from the panacheness of the end result. These things look amazing though and do their job well!
