The Extreme Short Shaft Kit is the shortest transfer case slip yoke eliminator for the NV231 available. The Extreme SS kit utilizes several innovative features that have never before been incorporated into a slip yoke eliminator kit to achieve maximum drive shaft length. The Extreme SS is over 3 shorter than a standard slip yoke eliminator kit, and 1-1/2 shorter than an ATLAS II. The Extreme SS kit comes with all necessary components to modify the stock 231 case. Speedometer readings are transferred through a tone ring and electronic sensor. Ring & Pinion ratio/tire size can be custom calibrated by any OEM service center to match custom ring & pinion/tire size modifications. Note: Earlier 231 applications with mechanical speedometer cable require updating to an electronic speedometer.

Requires a longer CV style drive shaft.

      A:

      Hi Dustin
The length will depend on the amount of lift and the axle that is in your Jeep if it is not stock. it is always best to order he shaft after the lift and measure what length is need for best fitment. Thank You
